What it does
Murmur lets you control devices with speech that never has to be spoken aloud. A skin-contact sensor picks up the physical signal of mouthed or whispered words directly, instead of listening to the room through a microphone.
Built for situations where speaking aloud isn't possible, comfortable, or private — a fixed vocabulary of commands is recognized instantly, and longer dictation is handled without ever leaving your own device.
How it works
- A skin-contact sensor rests against the upper chest or collarbone, picking up vibration from mouthed speech rather than ambient sound.
- Fixed-vocabulary commands are recognized on-device, on the pendant itself, with no network round-trip and no dependency on a connection.
- Longer, open-ended dictation is processed on a paired phone, privately — audio and derived text never leave devices you hold, and nothing is sent to the cloud.
- Two tactile buttons on the face allow manual command triggers when you'd rather not rely on speech detection at all.
Murmur pairs directly with Router and routes every signal into Relay.
